Hello Cyberspace! Margaret again, still tackling Facebook, and now ready to move to MySpace because I found out that's where the Bay City Rollers are, and if I want to be their friend, I need an account there. Hey, I've made moves for lesser reasons! But now, on to the issue of the day....
My new shih tzu is a freak! No kidding. Looks innocent enough, doesn't he? But he's been going around to my staff (just the women, mind you!) and licking their ankles. Toes, too, if they're wearing sandals! (Which Kim usually does! Okay, that's kind of funny when I hear a little gasp from her office because Gizmo got her ankle! Am I evil?) Anyway, who'd have thought I'd be mother to a freaky toe-licking Shih Tzu! OMG! If he does that to a client, I'm gonna die!!
But foot fetish aside, he has been a great office dog. He's not freaked out by new people (very good with the number of folks in and out), and he sits very quietly while being petted. Downside is, I'm sure productivity has gone down 50% because everybody wants to play with Gizmo!
Even my mother, who used to come to the office to see ME, now comes just for Gizmo! Pushed aside by 9 pounds of fur! What a letdown! And did I mention that he tries to eat his own poo? My mother knocked me off my pedestal for this? (Sigh!) I should be used to it by now, I suppose. For years I lost out on Favored Daughter status to a poodle, so it should only make sense that now I've fallen from grace due to a poo-eating, toe licking shih tzu! And for this I went to Grad School?
Well, tenuous Mother-Daughter bonds aside, Happy Friday to everyone from the Divas and Gizmo!

Hello darling!
Very impressed with your latest developments, so much so that you've inspired me to do something with my own blog. I was using it purely to record family tree matters, but now I want to use it to record other things too, like what a rubbish mum I am - Will put his tooth under his pillow last night and the tooth fairy 'forgot' to visit - ooooooh-er....
